Jerry Lewis Ring, 65, of Albion, Illinois passed away at 7:38 am, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born on September 24, 1957 to Hud and Rena Ilene Phelps in Ohio County, Kentucky. On January 19, 1971 he was graciously adopted by his loving parents Alva and Evelyn Ring at the age of 14. Alva and Evelyn raised him as their own child with all the love a child could ask for and there was never any question that his place was with them. On June 4, 1976 he married his ex-wife Tammy Joann Cosner and of that marriage came three daughters Joni, Julie, and Jennifer. Jerry found love and peace the last four years with his loving girlfriend Shelia Castillo. Jerry worked at World Color Press in Effingham until they closed the doors and then went to college for his ministerial degree in Oakland City, Indiana and spent his whole life trying to find peace within himself.
Jerry is survived by daughters: Joni (Alex Fulk) of Louisville, and Jennifer (Shannon) Musgrave
