Janice Elaine McGee, 80, of Ramsey, Illinois, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 30, 2024 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham.
She is the daughter of Walter and Gladys (Belt) Turner of Louisville, Illinois, and was the youngest of six children born into the family. She married Garland Eugene McGee on August 24, 1960.
Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves behind daughter Judy of Ramsey and son Jeff (wife Becky) of Effingham, and Paul (deceased), she is also survived by a brother: Kenneth Turner of Effingham.
Grandchildren include Stephanie (A.J.) Jackson, and Chelsie (Kenny) Koenig. Great grandchildren include: Cordelia Jackson, Keagyn, Kamden, and Kalynn Koenig.
She was also preceded in death by 3 siblings: Wilma Jean McGee, Walter Turner, Jr., and Richard Turner.
Janice was a strong and blessed woman. She played the piano for Old Union Church of Christ and Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville, Illinois, as well as the C
