Frederick Lee Sylvester, 77, of Cisne passed away peacefully at 2:14 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Silver Foxes Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro, Illinois.
Fred was born on May 25, 1946, in Burnet, Texas the son of Frederick L. and Minnie Pearl (Whitley) Sylvester. Fred married Cynthia McQueen on March 21, 2011 at the Louisville First Baptist Church, and they shared 12 years of marriage.
Fred's career as an engineer in the radio and television business was both distinguished and fulfilling. He dedicated many years of service to Westcot Prime Media in Dallas, Texas, where his expertise and innovative spirit were greatly valued.
Outside of work, Fred's interests were as varied as they were rich. A master craftsman, he found solace and joy in woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that were both functional and artistic.
