Jeanette Ann Murphy, 78, of Louisville passed away at 6:24 am, Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanette was born on December 17, 1944, in Cook County, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Hazel (Leininger) Wimberly. She married Larry Murphy on February 21, 1964, at the Louisville Christian Church and they shared 59 years of marriage.
Jeanette's early career began at Spartans Manufacturing in Flora, where she quickly became known for her diligent work ethic and friendly demeanor. After dedicating herself to the upbringing of her beloved children, Jeanette returned to the workforce, embarking on a rewarding 20-year tenure with Hella Electronics in Flora.
Beyond her professional achievements, Jeanette had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. She was an avid gardener, taking pride in her ability to cultivate a vibrant array of vegetables and flowers.
